Với mục tiêu đó, vào ngày 21/12/2019, Công ty Cổ phần Giáo dục Tư duy & Sáng tạo Quốc tế CMS (CMSedu) đã tổ chức Cuộc thi CMS Championship nhằm đánh giá năng lực tư duy toàn diện của học sinh tiểu học. Cuộc thi được tổ chức tại trường Newton Grammar School, Hoàng Quốc Việt, Bắc Từ Liêm, Hà Nội.

CMS Championship là cuộc thi đầu tiên và duy nhất tại Việt Nam thực hiện việc đánh giá năng lực tư duy của học sinh tiểu học. Cuộc thi đã quy tụ hơn 200 học sinh lớp 4 xuất sắc nhất từ 16 trường tiểu học tại Hà Nội, tạo điều kiện để trẻ khai phá tiềm năng tư duy của bản thân.

Các thi sinh làm bài đánh giá Năng lực tư duy với bài thi tiêu chuẩn được áp dụng trên hệ thống CMS EDU toàn cầu với thời lượng 70 phút. Bài đánh giá này được xây dựng dựa trên tiêu chuẩn quốc tế CCSS (Common Core State Standards) bởi các chuyên gia giáo dục hàng đầu từ Mỹ và Hàn Quốc.

Tham gia cuộc thi, các thí sinh được đánh giá toàn diện về năng lực tư duy với 2 phần thi:

- 20 câu hỏi trắc nghiệm đánh giá năng lực tư duy cơ bản của học sinh, dựa trên nền tảng là kiến thức toán học mà học sinh đã được học trên trường.

- 10 câu hỏi tự luận, trong đó có 7 câu hỏi trả lời ngắn kiểm tra tư duy toán học, 2 câu hỏi trả lời dài kiểm tra tư duy phản biện và 1 câu hỏi trả lời dài nhằm kiểm tra khả năng sáng tạo trong giải quyết vấn đề.

Nằm trong top 10 đạt thành tích cao nhất trong cuộc thi có học sinh đến từ các trường Tiểu học và THCS Ngôi Sao Hà Nội, Tiểu học Nam Thành Công, Tiểu học Marie Curie, Tiểu học Lê Văn Tám... với điểm thi lên đến 96/100 điểm. Qua đó, cuộc thi đã đánh giá và cho thấy được tiềm lực lớn trong việc phát triển năng lực tư duy của học sinh Việt Nam cũng như khả năng thành công trong tương lai của các em.

Top 10 thí sinh sẽ nhận được phần thưởng là Học bổng toàn phần 1 năm Chương trình phát triển năng lực tư duy thông qua môn Toán cho trẻ mầm non và tiểu học CMS EDU.
